“Quick to learn, but great depth and well balanced. Good for newcomers to the hobby while also having enough depth to keep more experienced gamers interested. Thematically great, as an added bonus!”

“We absolutely love this game. We were bought the 1st edition as a family present last summer and have not stopped playing it since. I have an 11 yr old (reluctant game player), 10 yr old avid game player and a flexible 8 year old. I enjoy introducing bf them to lots of games and most are a quick flash in the pan but this one has stood the test of time with all of us. I think it’s because it’s a race game with plenty of chance and the opportunity for direct combat with other ships that make it so much fun and the artwork is absolutely beautiful. I’ve bought the 2nd edition to give someone else for Christmas and I can’t wait to see if they enjoy it as much as we do.”

“This is a Great game, one of my favorites. A super epic ship race around the island of Jamaica with cool treasure to discover along the way and to battle against your opponents to fight for dabloons, food or cannons. Its super fun, the winner is the the richest with dabloons. Really clever with the day and night system to gain resources or move back and forth. Defo. 5 stars”

“A fun racing game with some simple combat mechanics thrown in. The 2nd edition of Jamaica really helps bring the game to life with new artwork and great-looking ships, including the new ghost ship. The gameplay is quick and higher player counts don't slow it down too much, though the combat can become chaotic. A great game for all ages.”
