Zombie Kidz Evolution is the first "legacy"-style game for kids, with basic gameplay similar to the 2013 title Zombie Kidz — but things will quickly evolve!

In the game, the young players are at school when zombies start to attack, infiltrating the entryways, then barring the way to classrooms. Players move through rooms and entryways to eliminate zombies and keep the zombie reserve full. If a zombie must enter the school but none are available, then the school has been overrun and the players lose. To win the game, players need to lock each of the four entryways as apparently the custodian has abandoned the post and given up the school for lost.

As players get better, they can complete missions, track their development through a trophy-sticker system reminiscent of video games, and open envelopes that contain new material for the game, upping the challenge they face while also providing them with new powers and new heroes as well.

Brilliant family game, everyone from tour 6 year old and upwards was able to get into it. The evolution aspect is very innovative and means we can getvit out every few weeks amd still discover something new. Great fun game

Really good family game. I’ve an 8 year old (not into board games) 10yo (who is) and wife (who can be if it’s the right game). After a couple of games it was “well let’s see what the first envelope is” from then on its been played lots. A spare 20mins, let’s have a game. The legacy aspect, bringing in more complex rules means that it’s not overwhelming at the beginning but builds. And the fact that you can play after you’ve opened/modified everything. Also being a cooperative game is a big plus. Even though we’re still quite away from the end I’m wondering what game can come close next. Gateway to legacy games.

We had it for Christmas and we love it!! I play with my daughters (5 and 7) who love zombies, ghosts... We play together and they love it. It is really evolutive, so it starts fairly simple and gets more complicated as more rules to remember. The cards to remind are good. Having to place stickers to count the number of games done as well as the trophies/challenges provide other aims that just playing. They don't want to stop and we play before going to bed as well as during weekends. You have to work as a team and it forces to think out loud which is a great training.

Bought this for my young nephew who loves zombies and loves computer games. This game not only got him off his Xbox but got him more into board games which is now the biggest thing that bonds us. The game is simple enough for young kids but also introduces them to legacy games allowing them to learn new games step by step. Can’t recommend this game enough if you have young people in your life.

What a great game! My son got this for his 8th birthday and we have had so much fun as a family playing this. It starts out very simply and builds and grows as you earn achievements and open more envelopes.

We love it! I has become our favourite game both as a family, and just the kids (7&10) to play together. We like the way the game develops as you unlock extra powers and zombies.
