YGA Club has some of the highest quality learning materials out there for guitar. It's so fun to start my lesson each day with Dan saying "Hey guys!" But for real, I'm such a better player because of Dan and the whole YGA crew.

I`ve been learning a lot from YGA during the last 2 years. The lessons are very in depth explained and the pace is perfect for me. Made me start enjoying guitar again after some years of not playing, and has kept me motivated to progress since.

Having tried various “online” courses in the past the YGA Club is right up there. The presentations, style and ease of navigation and the fact you get to set your own route map based upon your own specifications is great and the content is brilliant with easy to follow lessons thoughtfully made with you, the pupil, always to the forefront. The courses are aimed at every level of guitarist so there is something for everyone and everyone will benefit. Go on give it a try you will not be disappointed!

I looked far and wide for Youtube videos for beginner guitar lessons. It was very frustrating because I am someone who knows nothing about guitar playing and all the videos I saw didn't provide the foundational elements required that I found with YGA. Dan is an excellent teacher and I feel that every video is laying the building blocks I need to actually learn to play. I'm enjoying this journey learning guitar at 60 years old. Thank you YGA for developing such a wonderful learning experience!

I stumbled across a few videos on youtube for Your Guitar Academy and I’m glad I did. They make all of their lessons available on youtube for free but the real quality content (interactive tab, backing tracks, supplemental materials, etc.) is only available for paying members on their website. Based on the youtube videos, I signed up for a free 14 day trial on the YGA site and I highly, highly recommend it as a learning platform. The lessons are well structured, they break them down into theory, skills, and player studies (think Hendrix, Page, Mayer, Gilmore, etc). They also design a "pathway" of lessons for you to follow based on your goals and skill level. It really feels like they spent a lot of time on this and I've been getting a ton of education and improvement out of it. The foundational theory unit alone taught me things I never realized. If you want to try it out, just pick a course playlist at https://www.youtube.com/@yga and see what you think. Then sign up for a free trial at yourguitaracademy.com. You won’t regret it.
