“I love the well thought out organization and focus on building solid foundations for each lesson. Forcing myself to slow down and absorb each lesson has illuminated gaps in my knowledge and has me truly understanding the things I am playing.”
“My experience with guitar club has been excellent. Every aspect of where I want to be with playing guitar is covered in the courses. There is fantastic variety and enough challenges to keep you engaged for years. The lessons are clear and easy to understand - plus new content is always being added. Overall - the best online guitar lesson hub! 10/10! Keep up the great work!”
“I have enjoyed being a member of Guitar Club. I've taken 2 courses ( pentatonic and blues) they have both helped me tremendously. I am really getting alot out of the blues essentials course. The site has good courses. If you pick one and stick with it and practice I guarantee you will play better. My friends and family are somewhat impressed by my tasty blues licks. Mind boggling.”
“Dan, I wanted to let you know that I've been taking your 30 Day Beginner Challange course and it's been extremely helpful to me in my guitar journey. I taken other courses that were very complicated especially when it came to Music Theory. Your very simple and easy to understand explainations have made my time in practicing much more pleasurable than I ever imagined. Being able to translate the theory to the fretboard was like a lightbulb moment. I look forward to learning more and improving my skills while listening to your instructions. My best to you and the Guitar Club.”
“I have tried other online courses and this is the best. Hardest part is which lesson to choose. Currently alternating between 2 courses at same. Great explanations of information.”
“I am self-taught with gaps in understanding and technique. On a whim, I decided to try introductory courses through guitar club. Most lessons have a "nugget" for me, and the order of presentation is logical and effective.
My day job involves curriculum design. We use Universal Design for Learning (UDL) for course development. One major UDL concept is "chunking" - putting learning material in "digestible" pieces so as not to lose the student. Ordering of concepts should reinforce and enhance previous materials. With UDL as a measuring stick, Dan's lessons are as well designed as anything on the market. My highest recommendations.”
