One improvement could be the addition of a daily structured practice routine—for example, 5 minutes of legato, 5 minutes of song practice, and 5 minutes of scales. “I've been Youtube hopping for many years and getting nowhere fast. A few years ago I first stumbled upon one of Dan's YGA lessons and have been hooked ever since. Dan is clearly passionate about teaching guitar and providing good quality lessons for free. In fact every teacher on YGA seems to be infected with Dan's enthusiasm and it's a pleasure to watch anything on YGA.
This year I finally decided to take the plunge and become a member of the YGA club. I've been riding the freebies long enough lol.
I've been a member about a month and can honestly say the upgrade is well worth it. The interactive tab and backing tracks make learning sessions so much fun that I can't wait to play guitar every day. The pathway is great and I really feel I'm improving even in this short time.
When watching a lesson video it like being with a private tutor, although they can't hear your playing they seem to know what is important to tell you at every stage. Anyone stuck in a youtube loop should try out YGA for the free trial, forget all the others for a week and give it a fair shot. I'm sure most will see the benefits and join up
