I've been a member of the YGA Club for a year and a half now and I don't play to go away any time soon. First and foremost, I really like the people. From the mentors on Discord, to the other supportive students. I like how they are constantly improving everything and how they really care and act on our feedback (there's a channel on Discord). Then, there's the content. I really like YGA's approach: they create their own songs and they give us all the material, from tabs, to play-along videos and backing tracks. I find their songs to be really engaging and fun to play, which is a plus because we tend tospend a fair amount of time practicing the same song :) Another aspect I really like is the "progress review". We can upload a video of ourselves, share it on Discord and get great feedback. Not only that, but we are also able to see other students' progress reviews. Some are at the same level as us and struggling with the same issues and some are just really inspiring (hello JRod!).

I initially signed up for the YGA Club in order to dive deeper into Fingerstyle playing. I love the fingerstyle course, have learned a lot already and steadily progressing through the lessons. What has been a problem for me is that I started to look at all of the other great courses that are available as well. Now I am working through beginner lead lessons on an electric guitar. I've also started on a rhythm course as well. You won't have a problem finding a course that you love, the problem comes with deciding which one you will dive into first, and second and then.....well you get my point. Working on my own course discipline now. :)

There’s no lack of content when it comes to learning the guitar these days. But once I stumbled upon the YGA tutorials on YouTube, I was hooked. Then I learned about the YGA club! I was surprised by how well explained, *categorized* and full of detail their videos and production are. It certainly stands out. Always great content and straight to the point. I’m a big fan of their player studies series. It doesn’t matter what level you’re at, you will find great content and a great community at YGA. For an even greater experience, join the YGA club, get a personalized pathway and track your progress. No regrets there!

I had been in guitar wilderness for years before discovering YGA. The courses are excellent, as is the video production. The YGA club is your access point to everything from full courses to the almost daily licks and riffs. Even one of these is a really motivating way to build confidence. And if you want to play with other guitarists, the live Jam with Dan workshops are great fun too. I don't think there is a better way to learn in the UK.

Brilliant learning tool. Everything you need is covered from the basics to all theory. The YGA club feels personal and tailored to your style and needs. The weekly live videos are a great help.

I discovered YGA on YouTube, while looking for some instructional videos on Hendrix style. I've been playing guitar in and out for almost 30 years, and even knowing the theory, Hendrix-style improvisation had always eluded me...until now. With YGA Hendrix's course, I learned not just the theory but the way in which it should be applied, apart from some really cool tracks. Then in YGA's home page I've found a goldmine of resources to improve my guitar playing. And I love the way in which the courses are organised, they balance perfectly practice, theory and fun. Another great feature of YGA is the sense of community. Even if I haven't been active in discord, it is nice to be connected to a community of like-minded guitar lovers. And last but not least, the wonderful teachers in YGA. When you see teaching people like Dan, you see they're having a great time and their enthusiasm and energy propagates to your guitar playing and learning like magic.

Highly recommended! Some of the things l love about YGA are: 1. The authentic, genuine, kind, honest crew of teachers! 2. Courses are well built and thought out - they're well structured into meaningful, manageable chapters that are well-sized and engaging. I've completed a bunch of courses on yga which is kind of unusual for me when it comes to online learning. 3. Progress reviews - getting personal feedback on my playing is super helpful and hugely motivating. 4. Straight-forward pricing - it's just a monthly sub and there's no pressure to sign up for a year, or a lifetime. 5. Community - the discord group is awesome...friendly, supportive, encouraging and authentic.

Really good structured lessons and a personalised pathway that allows you to progress at your own speed, plus access to knowledgeable and friendly tutors. The best investment I've made in my guitar playing.
