“I first picked up a guitar when I was a student, played for a few years and then had a long gap, rarely playing guitar while my wife and I raised a family. In 2020 I decided to start playing again and started with Fender Play, which was good for a while as I re-learned the basics, but then I found was just too basic and I'd completed the Blues and Rock paths with nowhere else to go. I looked around for something better and found YGA! I was blown away by the quality of Dan's teaching ability and the depth of the courses, not just explaining the what, but also the why. I went through some of the free courses that YGA had made available at the time and then went on to purchase many of the player studies and other courses. Despite having done that I joined the YGA Club in September this year and I'm even more impressed than ever! The web experience is so much more fulfilling than working with downloaded files (although they're still useful as a backup). Having a custom Pathway planned out and having everything available on one page: video, instructions, immediate access to the interactive tab, backing tracks, and the progress tracker is just awesome! Then adding in the YGA community on Discord is just the icing on the cake. If you want to learn to play the guitar, at your own pace, with a supportive community behind you that includes top-rate tutors, then I can't recommend the YGA Club highly enough!”
“I've been playing guitar for a very long time but had some gaps that needed to be addressed. YGA Guitar has met those needs and continues to help me bring my playing to the next level. I have tried most of the guitar lesson sites out there and YGA Guitar Club is by far the best. They listen to their students and create content to add them in their journey. This is a quite personal site, they answer emails quickly and thoughtfully. The content is massive and keeps growing. I could not recommend it any more highly.”
“I bought several courses at the guitar academy because of the good, clearly explained and motivating instructions. Therefore i decided to stop having guitarlessons with a teacher at home and decided to join the YGA club and got a custom made pathway were i continued guitarlessons. At the beginning when i started my pathway lessons ,i thought that it was for beginners and not for me , when i started the course i finded out that i missed some skills. Now because of the inspiring teachers i am very glad i joined the club and do my exercises everyday with joy.”
“I actually have started the club twice. The first was when it first started. I had just had surgery on my shoulder and bicep and was having trouble with rotation and hand strength. Everyone was very helpful as I was not a beginner, but was starting from scratch physically with my left arm and hand. Unfortunately, money got tight and I had to drop my subscription. I recently reupped my subscription and couldn't be happier. It has only gotten better since I was last here. I would highly recommend YGA Club to anyone looking to improve their skills”
“YGA is amazing. The courses are really good. They are easy to follow and you feel as if you are having a one on one lesson. Dans lessons are quite fun and he makes it really easy when he breaks the lesson down in to bitesize chunks. Three different camera angles makes the videos easy to play long to. Keep up the good work!”
“The best guitar resource and extended music theory info!!!
Most do the major/minor caged courses!!
And the player series!!
Happy to be a member!!

“Having looked at many of the guitar courses available, I firmly believe the YGA material is by miles far superior. The tutors are all gifted teachers & technicians, and the video lessons teach you exactly what you need to know to practice and apply in everyday play. Anyone skeptical give YGA a try (I was ) you won't regret it.
