“This is my first course that I've purchased with this website and it's an outstanding one! You get GuitarPro files, PDF tabs, MP3 backing tracks, Bonus PDFs, and of course the videos. The Bonus PDFs are chord and scale oriented.
The course teaches a couple of Slash style solos as licks. There's about 11 licks for both solos, as well as some more stand alone licks too. What scale each lick came from is presented in the PDFs. They give you 5 patterns of minor/major pentatonic, blues scale, major/minor scale, and harmonic minor. The rhythm section teaches some power chords, strumming patterns, and key changes that are practiced with the 16 bar "song" that comes with a backing track.
This is a solid introduction to playing in the style of Slash because it helped me better understand lead, rhythm, and theory from his perspective. It's a great companion to have with you while you're learning actual Guns N' Roses songs, as well as breathing life into music theory that just usually ends up collecting dust. I'll be purchasing another course for sure!”
