My base layer pants are snuggly warm, and extremely breathable when I wear them during outdoor winter sport activity.
The Merino pants, are stylish, perfectly fitted, and they do everything they claim to do- my legs are the perfect temperature whether I'm exercising outside in freezing conditions, or indoors doing chores on a cold morning, they are BONE dry, after SEVERAL hours of intense activity, and they don't smell, even after 2 or 3 days of wearing them. I'm convinced I've bought clothing enchanted with a magical spell because of the advanced technology X-Bionic uses.
Some advice for upkeep is, whatever you do, DO NOT dry these with a hair dryer, after trying to do so a small heat hole melted through the clothing, and did so VERY quickly once I had the hair dryer focused on the inside. Dry them on any radiator, there's absolutely no issue with that.
Also be careful about pulling or stretching the fabric, 2 other very small holes have begun opening where I have over stretched the fabric and ripped some of the lining, when pulling on the pants.
These pants are more expensive than the basic €30 base layer pants you might find in your local sports shop, however these pants are made to withstand extreme temperatures and intense sporting activity .. these pants are for serious sporting enthusiasts, trend setters and fashionistas, or anyone who lives somewhere extremely cold, and I have yet to find a product anywhere else that can match X-BIONIC.”
