This system is very easy and intuitive to use. I'm using this buckle specifically to match with my Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical in black PVD and it matches perfectly. It allows for a perfect fit that means ultimate comfort and ease of use. I highly recommend this to anyone who's on the fence.

Very easy to use and allows for so much customizability. It's very comfortable on the wrist and looks great. I paired this with the granite elastic octopod strap and I use it on my black PVD Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical. It pairs up perfectly with the watch. The quality of the buckle and strap are phenomenal. If you're on the fence about buying the buckle, I'd say go for it. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent quality and value for money. Bit fiddly to thread the strap but watching their video I soon had the hang of it. And it looks great on too!

I purchased the octopod watch straps for my Omega X Swatch Moonswatch as I really didn’t like the strap that came on the watch. The octopod system is brilliantly simple and gives you plenty of strap and buckle options for every kind of watch. I chose the Black and it looks superb with both of the straps I chose.

Nearly perfect but a massive flaw is holding it back. Let's start with the good: the quality and finish are pretty impeccable. The clasp as a whole feels rock solid and substantial, its a premium looking and feeling product. The lockup (ie: when closing the clasp) is pretty mushy and 3 times out of 10 doesn't fully latch and eventually pops open during anything slightly more jarring then light activity, however, when it does latch it stays that way through pretty much any activity. The bad: the size of the buckle is so much larger than it needs to be in almost every way. The folding portion of the clasp is the most egregious part as it is so nonsensically and needlessly long. Given that the "nato" style straps are elastic and therefore are easily stretched over the hand when putting on and removing your watch, there's simply no need for the clasp to be so long. They could have easily kept the folding mechanism within the length of the clasps body and it would've worked just as well and would fit a much larger range of wrists. My right wrist (which fortunately I wear my watch on) measures in a 6.35" (not big by any means but certainly not small) and this clasp is as wide as the portion of my wrist on which is rests. If I wore my watch on my left wrist (6.1") it simply wouldn't fit as the excess of the folding mechanism pushes the strap out past the point of keeping contact on the wrist. Thickness is also an issue. I don't know how much slimmer they realistically could've made it, but surely a bit. I mean in a world were deployment clasps have existed for I don't even know how long, this thing is seriously thick. This is made even more apparent by the slimness of the nato style straps which it works with. I won't even touch on the swapping of bands on the clasp, as others mentioned, it's cumbersome to say the least. Final Thoughts: I REALLY wanted to love this product, a deployment style nato strap, I think, is a perfect strap but apparently only in concept. This octopod idea certainly has promise, but in its' current form, it's a massive miss. Truly disappointed, but holding out hope for a newer and better iteration.
