“Great Quality Strap - Great quality strap, fitted to my Tudor Black Bay, great summer look in Yellow, perfect length for my 7 1/2 inch wrists the only drawback is that the strap stinks of vanilla and it reminds me of a cheap car air freshener”

“Not comfortable - I really wanted to like this. As a swimmer and diver I have always been drawn to NATO straps but never liked how they retain water coming out of the water. Enter this. Completely impervious to water. Should be a dream? It's just not comfortable. I have tried every rubber strap ever made and I have not found one that I dislike. This is no exception. It is either too loose or two tight from on notch to the next, but it just feels grippy and terrible against the skin. It feels like something grabbing me and makes the skin swear underneath profusely. I'll stick to nylon or steel.”

“Buy one! Excellent NATO - I recently bought a Zelos Abyss Meteorite 3 and needed a lighter, rubber strap for it. I have small wrists so finding something for a large watch such as the Abyss proved challenging. Enter this rubber NATO! It’s brilliant (I bought 2 actually black and grey versions). Thin enough, but robust and feels like top quality. At 290mm it fits me perfectly, far better than the original Zelos rubber strap that came with the watch. I’m really impressed. People have referenced the scent, which yes is present, but unless you’re going to be wearing it inside with no ventilation 24/7 this is by no means a deal breaker. It’s a rubber NATO built for being active outdoors in the main, no? In summary I love it and great service from WatchGecko highly recommended. Thank you.”

“Nice quality but strong smell - Strap looks and feels amazing. It does however smell of vanilla so badly that I can’t wear it for more than an hour or two as the smell gets too much and is not disappearing after a few weeks. Imagine the smell of an extremely heavily scented vanilla candle. The sort of strength you can smell the moment you walk into a room. Now imagine that smell with you for 12-15 hours per day. Makes the strap unusable for anything more than a novelty in my opinion. Tried storing the watch in a draw for occasional use and now the strap smells out the draw to the point I’m storing it in a ziplock bag. Yes a ridiculous thing to be doing. I feel this strap will be seeing the bin soonish”

“Questionable durability - I have loved all aspects of this strap, until the rubber cracked after 15 mo of light use. The description of the strap touts how durable the rubber is and how it would provide years of use. Disappointingly, the band failed at the adjustment hole. Watchgecko told me their stars doesn’t come with any warranty so don’t believe what the description say about any warranty.”
