“Firstly, exceptional shipping. I ordered this on a Thursday in New Zealand and received it the following Wednesday, I've ordered things from within the country that take longer to arrive, let alone from the other side of the world!
The garment itself represents fantastic quality and value for money. I've looked around but I couldn't find anything that offered the length and the features of this coat without paying double the price or more.
I'm 6'4, reasonably athletic build, I ordered a size large based on the fitted chest measurements, however I would probably have ordered a size down if I'd known it was going to be so wide around the waistline. Still, I bought this jacket for traveling during the winter months and when its wet and cold I'm sure I'll appreciate the ability to fit layers underneath.
Now my final and most significant gripe, the hood. I saw several reviews saying the hood was too small, and now I believe them. Its frankly comical, I can barely fit it over my head, theres is no overhang to keep the rain off your face, not to mention the fact it looks quite ridiculous. I'm taking it to a seamstress to see if I can get it extended or enlarged. This is the only thing stopping me giving this jacket a 5 star rating, but until such a time as they update their design I'm afraid it's 3/5.
Fantastic jacket otherwise in every other way, I just believe a waterproof jacket should have a usable waterproof hood.”
