“This country shirt is a traditional tattersall pattern, all-cotton, with a plain (not button-down) collar. These are very hard to find in the North American market with this collar, especially at this price. The styling, fabric quality, and comfort are excellent, and the fit is very good. Because they advise against tumble drying (presumably to prevent shrinkage), I bought the shirt in XL instead of my usual Large. After one laundering it fits well, just a little generous, and the sleeve lengths are perfect for me at about 86cm.
The shirt's construction is excellent: pattern alignment on the pocket is perfect, and the collar points measure 6.5cm, definitely not too long. Lightweight corduroy lining the collar and cuffs is a welcome addition; it should add to the shirt's durability. Stitching, collar attachment, buttonholes, button quality, and alignment are perfect. The addition of two spare buttons is a thoughtful touch. I am delighted with the quality of the shirt.
The fabric's softer brushed finish is very comfortable, making it suitable for fall, winter, and spring. Although the fabric seems heavier than the usual brushed cotton I see in shirts, it is definitely lighter than flannel. It feels a lot like Viyella to me, but without the wool content.
I bought it in the green and wine colors and may not resist the temptation to get another in blue.”

Aber das macht gar nichts, denn für den Winter habe ich kaum Hemden und ein Pullover ist häufig zu viel.Mir gefällt das Hemd sehr gut und ich bin sehr zufrieden. Die Größe ist auch perfekt und es hat zum Glück Ärmel, die lang genug sind. Leider kann ich das von meinen anderen Hemden nicht immer sagen.”
