The main critics in this was our dogs and they love them. These are not training treats but a few a day is recommended. Smell very meaty and all 3 dogs ( 2 are very picky) lap these up when we get them out of the tub.

The “Probiotic Digestive Treats” from “Vetwell” is a tub of 120 soft chewy treats for dogs which are good for your dog’s digestive system and immune system. They’re basically 100% natural chewy treats with a supposed liver flavouring. The treats are around the usual chewy dog treat size. Our springer spaniel absolutely loves these, and quite happily wolfs them down in seconds. For a large dog (like ours) it says to give them three of the chews a day. With 120 chews in a tub, that means the tub will last for 40 days. For smaller dogs it recommends less (see the Amazon listing details as well as the packaging). The treats come in a medium-sized plastic tub that has a screw-on lid to keep the treats fresh. We’ve been giving our dog these treats for the last couple of weeks. We’ve not noticed any immediate difference with him, but he does enjoy the treats, and I’m sure the good stuff in them is helping keep him healthy. Finally, the dog treats have a very good expiry date on them - our tub having been manufactured 30/07/2024 with an expiry date of 01/2028 (i.e. 3.5 years).

I recently started using Vetwell Probiotics for my dog, and so far, they’ve been a good addition to his routine. The chews are liver-flavoured, and my dog takes them without hesitation, which is always a plus. They’re supposed to support digestive health, and while it’s hard to say exactly how much they’ve helped, my dog seems to be doing well with them. The ingredients include probiotics like Enterococcus Faecium, colostrum from bovine, and prebiotic chicory inulin, which seem like good additions for general digestive care. The fact that it comes in a large pack of 120 chews makes it good value for money, especially since we don’t need to give more than one a day.The only downside is that they’re a bit on the larger side, so they may not be as easy to chew for smaller dogs, but for medium or large dogs, they work just fine. Overall, I’m happy with these chews, and my dog seems to enjoy them, which is the most important thing!

The Probiotics for Dogs have become a regular part of my dog's morning routine. We give her two chews, which are suited to her weight, and she absolutely loves the salmon flavor, treating them like a snack. We feel these chews are of high quality, and they’ve noticeably improved her digestion and bowel health. A great supplement for her overall well-being.

The dogs are really enjoying these probiotics, one of my dogs has a habit of eating things she probably ought not (cat po*p) so it's good to make sure she's getting some good protective bacteria to help protect her. They smell really meaty and the ingredient list is comfortably recognisable.

I got these because although I make my dog's food and I'm reasonably sure her gut microbiome is OK, there are occasions when she can get a bit farty after eating commercial food or something unidentifiable that she's scavenged. This is a decent-sized tub of small (about 1 cm cubed) chewy 'treats'. Although they say they are salmon flavour, they don't smell fishy, just generally savoury - a bit like marmite on hot toast. Offering them to the dog, she sniffed at them suspiciously, took one and chewed it thoughtfully, then decided that they were OK, and yes please she'd have another. This is less enthusiastic than she is with some of her treats, but significantly better than some she just flat-out rejects (yes, she's fussy!). Great to have as a back up for when she gets windy. Recommended.
