They have all the required features like the default power state on power loss, power draw alert, cumulative kWh, etc. Another reason I like this is that mine appears to run cool. The Samsung smart plug used to run hot. I had to return Samsung Smart Plug to Amazon because I realised that it cannot be included in other z-wave network. With Aeon Labs, everything just works and you can use any controller. I use a Mac as a server running Indigo.”
“I used the excuse of xmas tree lights to get this. Fed up of climbing under the tree to switch them on and off. Bought this for use with my Samsung SmartThings hub. Was easy to "Add Things", just worked. Plugged into socket no problem, then plugged 6-way into it. I have Amazon Alexa working with SmartThings, so can now say "Alexa, switch on the xmas tree". Wouldn't hesitate buying another.. well made, good looks/ergonomics.”
“Using this with Fibaro HC2, and it's so easy to set up. Looks good, small form factor, reports usage (volts/amps/watts). The button is awkwardly placed, but you should never need it after initial setup (it's wireless, innit!).
