“Very easy to setup with Vera and quick to respond to commands. I don't really have a need for the extra features like the energy consumption and colour modes so maybe a little expensive when all I needed was a simple on/off switch.”

Very reliable, solidly built devices. The power monitoring reporting thresholds are configurable and the inclusion of a usb port is great for combining with the smart sensor 6 to permanently power it.
The manual on/off button is obscured by the plug making it harder to activate but don't often use it so isn't an issue for me.”
“Having tried numerous sockets over the years, the Aeotec seems to have the best build quality of all of them!
It's also smaller and neater looking than others, with the additional benefit of a 5V USB on the side.
The only downside really is that the button for local control is a small dimple on the front corner which can be obscured by what you've got plugged into it - but then again, you don't buy a Z-Wave socket to be operating it manually!”
