“I bought this to work with Hubitat. It’s use to control my Dooya 52S curtain track motors. I’ve had a few issues getting Fibaro working with the curtain motors. The Roller Shutter 3 simply would not work - I couldn’t get it to complete calibration of the motors despite multiple attempts with different settings. For that reason I was using the older non Z Wave plus Roller Shutter 2 - that worked but wouldn’t report it’s position so I had to set up rule to refresh it every 5 minutes - hardly ideal!
The Qubino Flush shutter works better with the Hubitat driver. It calibrates correctly, the terminal screws are better having standard slot head than the Fibaro, but they don’t have the same capacity as the Fibaro which will take up to 6mm.
Two small gripes. Firstly - It doesn’t report its position until the motor stops. I have an automation for lights to come on when the curtain is 5% open or more. It works but the lights will not come on until the motor stops regardless of whether it’s at 5, 10 or 99 % open. Qubino tell me this is correct as the device should not send unsolicited messages to the Z wave network. However my Fibaro Shutter 3 reports in real time while my garage door is opening - perhaps that’s something in the custom driver. Secondly - if I say “Alexa close Lounge curtain to 50%” it works, I can later close it fully using the manual wall switch. However next time I manually open it with the wall switch it will stop at 50% and I have to re set the level on Hubitat dash.”
