I am super happy with this z-wave stick. It works great. I am running this on a raspberry Pi 4 with open zwave and it is much more stable, and much more responsive than my previous zwave hub. Very Happy

Fine. Works well. Not a glamorous item but does what it does without fault.

Seems to be one of not many that isn't the 'standard' 50 quid....fits the bill and does the job its supposed to and Vesternet are always speedy and deliveries....despite using UKmail managed to get somewhere within the university buildings, and tech support have been helpful in the past when I've needed help.

Comes in a crappy little box with crappy instructions. Support for this device on the z-wave.me website is virtually non-existent. https://z-wave.me/uzb/ The "Manual is a single sheet of A4 printed on both sides. The website mentions firmware several times but there is none to be found. I have tried this stick on a Raspberry Pi 3B+ running stock Rasbian Stretch, and the raspberry is giving device descriptor errors at the very first 4-raspberries splash screen startup. Therefore HomeSeer HS3 Pro refuses to work with this device on the hardware configuration mentioned. I also tried the same stick on a Windows 10 PC, and HomeSeer HS3 Pro. Windows 10 recognizes the stick no problem and uses a built-in driver dated 2013. However HomeSeer HS3 Pro refused to recognise the stick. I can't understand how this sh!t has got 4*. In summary this is not the technology to be running your smart home on. I have over 20 years experience in working in many areas of IT, both software and hardware. With the same hardware above, the Aeotec Z-Stick Gen5 just worked out of the box, no messing. Just a shame this is so big relative to the uzb.

Worked fine with my RPi + Domoticz, installed Domoticz and the USB stick was immediately available (I think the Domoticz install installs the open zwave libs). Range is excellent, not had any issues, really enjoying ZWave generally.

Just starting out with home automation. Got this with a couple Fibaro switch 2's Installed the z-wave.me into a windows 10 pc running openhab. Setup the binding with no issues and connection to the switches has been fault less. Will be definitely carry on using this while I expand my setup.

Used on Homeseer to replace an old S2 stick. I had one slight issue; it would not operate via an unpowered USB hub but on changing it to work directly from the PC USB port (on a 2M extension) it was a breeze. I just backed up the old S2 device settings and restored to this. Seems to be an improvement over the old S2, performance is better; more range and the routing far more logical.
