“This is my first try at home automation, using Home Assistant on a Raspberry Pi with an Aeotec Zi-Stick and this switch to switch an immersion heater on/off depending on our battery storage level. The process of linking to the controller and then controlling and automating the device from Home Assistant, also using the SolarEdge API integration to measure battery storage level, was straightforward.”
