“This was designed by a blithering idiot .. probably OK as a humidity/temp sensor, but if you want to use one of the external probes (pipe/tank sensor) you have to connect it to the backplate, and the backplate to the device BEFORE you hit the include button .. guess what, getting at the include button with the backplate on is next best thing to impossible. If you screw the backplate to the wall, you achieve COMPLETELY impossible. Similarly if you want to wake or prod the device you need to take it off the wall. And the catches to release it from the backplate are super hard to release, at least on mine.
While it may 'continuously monitor' the default Z-wave data update is 30 minutes. Can't find any way to 'send on major change', but then if it is asleep it isn't going to know anyway. I guess continuously means 'every 30 mins'. We won't even talk about wakeup default. I am using it with Home Assistant and Zwave2Mqtt plug in and it works basically OK, if you want to know the tank temp (on average) 15 mins ago.”

The temp and humidity measurement is very accurate
The case looks and feels solid
Automatically sending notifications, without the need to wake-up or polling is very comfortable
So far, I've not tested the extension of this sensor by other digital cable sensors.
What I miss is usability in outdoor environment. This one only supports indoor from 0...40°C.
