“Smart-looking unit, but hard to set up in a semi-gravity system, as there is no simple way I could find to link the pump request to the boiler switch. My old-fashioned controller did this easily via a link.
More confusion with the display in VeraLite - the parent appears with heat/off and a thermostat, which do not do anything, the 2 channels appear as sub-devices, but each with a thermostat setting (which also has no effect, fan and energy modes), plus off, cool, auto, or heat. It would be a lot easier to use if it appeared as two switches - each on or off, which is what it is.”
“However... I had to enter Installation mode twice on the unit. First time when device has been paired with Vera and second time when Vera could not communicate with the thermostat. After adding thermostat to Vera controller I could see the device in "DEVICES" section but none of the setting was available. Device field/icon displayed 'Waiting to Wakeup to Configure'. In this moment I had to go to the setup again, dial to "n" and allow Vera to configure the unit. Since then everything is spot on... Good stuff and working well...”
