“These are such a versatile little bit of kit, the batteries last for what seems forever, and it takes normal AAA's. I am running it through a "Aeotec z-wave 7" stick running Home Assistant, I will be blunt, they can be a bit of a *** to set up but once they are they are so stable, you will never have to touch them again. I run them with a blueprint that allows 3 options per button, so we have everything from lights to opening blinds. 1 more room to do so we will be buying another one.”
“Switch is z-wave, not directly Fibaro. Whilst it works, there is a 1 second lag for anything is operates. Using the fibaro app on the phone, actions are instant. Using this, expect to wait 1 second before an action is executed. I suspect it's because it's not Fibaro but not sure.”
“I use it with Vera plus. The item is built very good, it's batteries last a long time without need to be replaced. I use it to instruct curtains down when going to sleep, going out from home and returning.
I bought another for the second floor. Pairing and signal work great!”
“Although the Z-Wave network picked it up with ease, there is no way to configure the button presses in Home Assistant. I've searched the internet and there are a few technical solutions if you can programme in XML. Unfortunately this is not for me. My Scene Master will remain on ice until it can be configured. The product itself is first class. A tidy piece of kit with a nice solid action and appearance. A reassuring LED lets you know the signals are transmitted to the host.”
