“I bought this from Vesternet. It installed on my Vera Edge system but would only report tampering. Vesternet's response was " I'm afraid that's not a device that we've tested or used ourselves, so I can't offer any advice on whether it should work in Vera or not" and recomended contacting Vera support.
Vera Support did get it going very quickly by changing "an implementation file". I was impressed by their service.
I have installed the device discretely inside my front gate with shelter from direct rain. So far it has survived high temperatures and heavy rain. It is doing a good job monitoring vehicles and pedestrians and is giving much less false alarms than my motion sensitive cameras. I am very happy with it.”
