“Not really designed for the UK market, the module behind the switch is about 35mm deep, this is far too deep for UK back boxes. So you will either need to removed the existing back box and smash out the brickwork to make space for a deeper back box or source some spacing plates to bring te switch out from the wall to allow it to fit the existing space.
No spacers are provided with the kit. Given the price of these switches, it is a shame spacers and longer screws aren't included, it would only cost the manufacturer a couple of quid to do so.
It's a shame the manufacturers can't make these much smaller so they ould be a simple straight swap without the need for build works or further purchases of spacers and the resulting less visually appealing lump sticking out of the wall.”
