“I was surprised how simple these were to pair with smartthings. In fact once paired they responded instantly to water across the terminal without having to set up routines (until I made my own anyway). Compared to previous Aeotec sensors which need bespoke Edge drivers these are a blast. The build quality is good too. They have a bit of weight to them and feel like they wouldn't get knocked around easily so will hopefully remain static if water finds its way to them.”
“Excellent item. Seems good quality. Tested a few times and instantly detected moisture. Adding to Home Assistant was an absolute doddle, and instructions (not that many are required) are very clear. This is what home automation devices should be like.”

“Had a couple of these previously and they prevented a lot more damage when our hot water tank developed a leak. Things would have been a lot worse if we hadn't been notified by the sensor. Hence I've purchased more to go by the washer and fridge water inlet.”

“SmartThings Waterleak Sensor is simply the best leak sensor on the market
Everyting about it is good. Easy to connect and very good battery life.
It even monitors temp and moisture.
And last but not least versternet provides an even better serivce”
“Great product, has contacts for sensing liquids on both top and bottom.
Works with Hubitat out-of-the-box and can use logic to turn off the water at the mains supply in the event of leaks being detected.”
