“I’ve got many of these and they are great devices. The last one I got is having a few issues including but that could be a local thing.
One problem with the devices is that the temperature sensors refresh cycle is quite slow.”
“As far as I know no other manufacturer offers a module like this, or indeed, the older version. This new version is even more useful with the ability to read humidity and temperature (the inexpensive DHT module is easy to find) and now the microrelays and inputs are completely independent of each other. This is means, for example, you could attach one to an existing alarm system to integrate SET, UNSET as outputs and ALARM, FAULT as inputs to let Fibaro choose appropriate scenes.”
“The old Binary sensor did work well... when it worked.
This new upgrade hopefully would work better, but I can't currently get it to work with my Vera unit.
I have got it working with a Zstick and Openhab so I've not given up on it yet.”
“Used with a fibaro controller this little units brilliant other than the 3m distance limit on temperature sensor. Used with Vera can need regular resets when it stops reporting”
