“I bought this to replace a TKB plug that had failed after 3 years. The Fibaro unit packs a lot more functions into a much smaller and very smart looking unit. But... in the 3 or so weeks that it has been installed it has:
(1) gone totally unresponsive, needing re-inclusion. Now, to give benefit of the doubt, this was only a day or two after installation, and may possibly have been a Z-wave routing issue.
(2) after 3 weeks use, suddenly started reporting power consumption as 0.0W, even when it clearly wasn't (KWH reports continued to increase). This was only fixed by "re-booting" the device, and seems clearly to be a firmware fault.
In other respects I am quite happy. But, I will be keeping a close eye on its behaviour. Given the steep price of this I expect better reliability.”
