“I've got a few of these dotted around the house. They are perfect little sensors. They have a huge amount of customisation options to suit every use case. The batteries last several months at a time. I've had one for about a year and only replaced it's battery once.”
“Unlike other Fibaro modules which installed using Domoticz without issue, at first the Motion sensor would not respond. Tied everything but it was not updating, I gave up on it, then a week later it just started working.. very odd. Once working it is very good”
“As motion sensors have to be visible you want them to look good and this does. Can be fiddly to get in the correct position and with the correct sensitivity so that it fires when you want (and not when the cat walks by!) but I see this as standard with any motion device and fibaro is no better or worse than others. I currently have 5, mainly for triggering auto lights and it does this perfectly”
“It is good and elegant, but it use a lot of battery in my opinion, you have to change the batter two or three times a year, if you have few of these, it is not an easy thing”
“Good sensor, very visual with the multi colour eye on motion and tamper. Very useful for at a glance when determing if its just hot/cold or is it just you.... as at defined temps it will glow blue, green or red to signify too cold, perfect or too hot. Nice in the middle of the night. Good batter life, about months to a year on the ones i have (I cant remember mine are gen 5 or not, prob not). Only complaint is that they can not be wired to usb switch and lack of humidity sensor, other than that, great sensor. Working on Indigo as the controller and Z-Stick Gen5.”
