“This little fella is perfect for my daughters room, she has it by the side of the bed so she can control bedroom lights & the landing light, works well with the HC2. . . . only downside is it could do with magnetic wall mount like its big brother Quadmote . . . but all in all good value for money”
“Really easy to setup and works flawlessly. I use it in my car to control outdoor lights and garage opener as I return home and it reaches a good distance from the house.”
“I purchased this because of the advertised 16 scene capabilities. But you can only use 16 features if you use customised device handlers and use Z-wave lights. Given I have the very common Philips Hue bulbs, then this is an 8 scene device. Given both my hub and this device is by the same manufacturer, I really would have expected much better integration but The truth is far from it. I would not have minded so much if this was £20 but at this price tag I do feel like I’ve been ripped off.”
“I’m very pleased. It was easy to set up, with my smartthings hub and does just what I wanted to overcome the inconvenience of a badly placed switch.
Pity that Vesternet only offered me the shipping upgrade after I had paid for it.”
“Excellent remote, great for 8 different actions/scenes but not so great to get 12 or 16 scenes. Some tinkering and I’m half way to getting the slider to work alongside press and hold.”
“So much to love about these buttons:
1. They are blank (no random symbols) - We are going to put labels next to each button if we need them
2. The haptic feedback is handy as is the light so you can tell you have pressed the button
3. The fact you can turn off the beeping sound and the haptic feedback if you do not want them
4. They paired with Vera really easily and are easy to assign scenes to
5. They are the same width as the wall bracket for the Philips Hue remote control and look great together.”
