“It's a pretty decent looking piece of kit. There is only a quick start guide in the box, you have to go online to find the full instructions which I found to be less than ideal.
They tell you to simply attach the wires of the device to the manual switch wires but my opener doesn't have a manual switch. I sussed out after a bit of trial and error, which terminals on the PCB to attach the wires to.
The device emits a deafening alarm sound before the door is opened or closed. The instructions state that you can connect the device to a PC using the supplied micro USB cable and it will show up as a drive on your PC, allowing you to upload new sounds, but this didn't work for me. There is a rocker switch which allows you to cycle through the alarm sounds and change the volume but I haven't yet worked out how to save the changes and the instructions don't tell you.
I wanted to use a Samsung button to control it but this was only partially successful as if you take the button away from your WiFi, it is listed as offline and doesn't immediately come back online.
Finally, it seems pretty expensive for what it is!”
