Seems to be accurate to within 0.1 degree. Have it reporting when it changes by that much fine. Had a question of their support which was answered very efficiently, so full marks.

What controller are you using (optional)? Fibaro
I have six of these now to measure temperature, relative humidity and dew point in various rooms in our old farmhouse so that we can keep an eye on these factors and link them to adjust the electric heaters we have to get a comfortable environment whilst not using too much electricity. (We have no central heating). We link them with a Fibaro Home Centre 3 (HC3) using the Fibaro software. Once I had set them up and asked several questions of the Aeotech support desk they did exactly what I wanted! But the main problem is that they do not come with a Template for the HC3 so you have to manually set the parameters (quite tricky I found!) to get the functionality you want - the defaults did not do what I wanted. This took time to learn how to set them up as the documentation was not brilliant but Aeotec support was very good. Have only just started to put them to work with setting Scenes to use the data to manage the use of the electric heaters and this will take a bit of experimenting to get right. They are very small and so discrete when fixed in place - we used blue tack. So only giving 4 and will see how they work over the winter!

What controller are you using (optional)? Open Source Software
The sensor works very well once I figured out how to configure it using the controller. I wish that there was the equivalent of 'heyu for x10' for these z-wave devices so I could configure them and then process the events how I wanted and control them using crontab.

I didn’t want a multisensor. I just wanted a couple of functions in a small concealable unit. This aerq is great. I don’t even see it when I’m wandering around. Inclusion was simple. Just what I needed

I was amazed how small this turned out! Can’t fault the performance. The battery is already down to 80% so I’d say the quoted battery life is a little on the optimistic side.

This sadly took several attempts to get working with SmartThings and its something Aeotec need to get ironed out. They have released the DH and firmware but it means adding the device and changing it. It took me about 15 attempts to add this. However it worked. Shows temp (accurately) Humidity and dew point. Great for monitoring air in a room and linking with fans / heaters etc. Aeotec need to iron out the pairing issue but they were really helpful with online team I have several ST and now this device in the same room which show me an average room temperature - not just one on the radiator. I can now heat my rooms More effectively and see how humid it is to circulate air
