“The MultiSensor 6 connected immediately to my Hubitat Elevation hub and I was immediately able to use it for controlling my lighting based on motion and existing light levels. It is very small, looks good though unobtrusive, and appears to be 100% reliable. I use it with 2 batteries - you can use it with 1 battery or plugged into a standard USB charger.”
“Have purchased a few of these devices and love them. Compact device for the number of sensors, and inconspicuous when installed in the home. Easy to link with controller and have, so far, had no issues with them. Unsure on battery usage as mine have so far been powered by the USB connection.”
“This device works well. I like it's size and it has a massive array of sensors. Works well in my Homeseer system and thus far has been very reliable. The updates from the temperature sensor, lux sensor etc can be configured to be more regular which is a nice feature. This will impact battery performance. The sensor does have a USB power connector, but this is a negative for me as it limits your power options. A screw terminal or a 2.1mm power connector would have been better as these are easier to adapt.”
“Works well in all the Z-Wave controllers I've tried, including SmartThings and Vera.
A breeze to install and configure and reacts to motion extremely quickly!
Also has the benefit of being able to be powered by battery (either one or two, easy on the budget) or by any 5V USB charger.”
