“So far so good. The multi-sensor connected to the Z-Wave network quickly and easily. I am using it with the Hubitat controller and all the required variables are brought through without issue.
As I was mounting the sensor in the kitchen I also bought the ceiling mounting kit which posses a subtle issue in that I needed to get 5V micro USB into the ceiling void somehow. This involved a third party PSU and sacrificing a micro USB lead but now it works well with everything accessible through the cutout. The sensor can be run on batteries but this causes sensor refresh rate limitations which I could probably have worked around.
Really like the unit and will be adding more to my system as I refurbish each room of the house.”
“A great unit, far neater than conventional alarm sensors. Sometimes I wish the sensitivity was slightly better and they don't have the range they really need over the larger rooms, but great battery life and the ability to link into the rest of the home is just fantastic.”
“The sensor is very good, was added seamlessly with home assistant, just had to change sensor from basic to binary and adjust amount of time the sensor stay triggered.”
“I use this with Home Assistant to control extract fans and lights in a wet room. The sensor was easy to setup with a few tweaks to the configuration required for my application. Nice and small so installs discreetly.”
“I bought overall 7 units, to be used to control light and ceiling fans in my kids rooms, as well as control garden light during movement and roof temperature.
The item is very reliable, nevertheless requires either batteries, which run out approx. every 3 months, or connecting to the mains via usb cable which is supplied.
the recent ceiling bracket is a very good addition.”
