“Received very quickly and easily installed and set up. Unfortunately the temp and humidity are only reported every 7 minutes - it can be set to report more frequently, but then the battery rapidly discharges. I'm using this with an extractor fan, so I would have been better off with a dedicated temp/humidity sensor...”
“Please be aware that, unlike other PIR's, this one will not conditionally trigger motion dependant on lux level when being used with an associated switch... Others do. So if you need a motion triggered light without using your controller look at other devices.
A pity really because otherwise it is great, mine is now slower to react than I would have hoped because it has to trigger via mios.”
“Everything works well, and the ability to have three different timer profiles for sending unsolicited data back to the controller makes setup easy. Only complaint is that PIR detection sensitivity is a little low (even on max); if you sit still in an average sized room, it fails to detect you.”
“I've got three of these and, overall, I'm very happy with them. Only two minor quibbles:
1. If mounting in the corner of a room (to keep it unobtrusive) the swivel mount doesn't let you position the sensor at 45 degrees to the wall (to cover the whole room)
2. Although they can go outside, they are only rated IP42, which means they can't take real rain!
Both these issues are fixable (a corner brace for one and a housing / rain cover for the other), so don't let that put you off; these are excellent sensors.”
