Bought 2 of these and paired well with a Fibaro home controller. Very small and easy to hide. Worked well at first. However, one fell off the frame and got crushed by the door so ended up in the bin. The second one has died after less than 2 years due to battery failure. Not quite the 10 years quoted. This despite being close to the controller and only activated infrequently. Wake up mode is factory default so it should have lasted better. Given the high price, I'm hoping Sensative will replace it FOC as they aren't exactly cheap if they could just make the battery replaceable, it would be worth the cost.

Waste of money - Cannot get this to work on a standard UPVC door - Tried multiple positions, but the magnet does not seem strong enough to activate the relay. Only way to get it working was to build up multiple strips of 3M tape to close the gap between the sensor and the magnet - Not workable. Going back to standard magnetic contacts!

Despite some issues getting it paired with Vera, my 2 paired easily with Indigo but have both died now only 18 months since purchase and with less than 6 months actuall install time. Other than reviews here after initial install, its becoming clear on some forums that life expectancy is far short of the 10 years claimed, and very expensive for a device that lasts less than a year. Also once fitted, it cant be moved as the adhesive pulls the unit apart.

Good product. Prompt and follow-up response from Vesternet shows their customer service excellence. After the initial pairing with the Vera Plus Controller, follow the Vesternet’s Application Notes of “Using Sensitive Strips in VERA UI7” in the Resources section of their website for the device parameters setup. Then your Strips started responding to the events.

These little Sensors are a marvel. Picked up by Smartthings without issue and have performed as expected for several months now. They are super stealthy, simply invisible. I have 9 of them on all external doors which are mainly UPVC Metal Framed, not a single missed alert from any of them, the furthest door being ~50m from the hub. I did install the strips on the actual door and the magnet on the frame, that way the strips become more exposed when the door opens which may help with the signal of course. The only thing I have to obviously reserve judgement on is the battery life but if they even last half as long as stated then I will still be more than happy in comparison to some of the external sensors which use pretty expensive (non button) batteries. By the time they do run out hopefully they will have rechargeable ones on the market and I would not hesitate to buy those. If you are looking for a solution then I highly recommend giving these a try, buy one and test it on your furthest door, trust me, you will come back for more :-)

Works 100% with Indigo 7, no problem including it into the Aeon Labs Z-Stick USB Controller - Gen5. Instant response for open and close. If only other Z-Wave modules were this easy.

Well to be fair , it works fine now perfectly with my vera. but note its not in the vera compatibility list of products, hence i got help from vesternet team, with parameters needed in device setting etc, and also from vera support. it took few days but in the end its well worth it ill give 4 stars because i had issues at 1st , and including and excluding was not a smooth ride at all
