The delivery was fast and efficient. The service I got from vesternet was great. The quality of the sensative strips is amazing - the product works in a very simple manner.

Worked flawlessly for 1 year and 8 months but is now telling me the battery is almost out. Certainly nowhere near the 10 year claim. The sensor is >10m from the z-way controller, and >3m to two z-way devices that can act as repeaters. Very disappointed. Surely it can't be too hard to have a replaceable battery.

A lot easier to fit and set up than the instructions appeared to be!

I think that I bought about 5 of this. I still have 4. They look nice and can be installed hidden very easily in uPVC frames. The magnet location is a bit picky. When installed, the seemed to work fine. The main problem is that all except one have stopped working in less than one or two years. I think that one or two ran out of battery. The others are still working but will not include properly or blink continuously (communication error?) when triggering an event. The fact that it's a sealed unit, and that you have to use a magnet instead of a button to include/exclude/reset is what made me finally give up on them. Not going to spend another £200 on these to have to replace them all again in one year Replaceable battery, and a push button would greatly improve the usability. Still not sure about the comms issues (maybe it's low battery? who knows)

I've had 3 of these and they worked well generally, but all three have died within 2yrs. One only lasted about 1 year. So beware, they're expensive if the batteries fail so quickly.

Not great... Installed using the temporary adhesive as per instructions, and everything working fine. Left for a couple of days to make sure and then the main strip fell off so decided that was the right time to permanently install (in exactly the same place). From that point on it hasn't worked, seemingly unable to reach the controller. No end of resetting, retrying, moving the controller even, standing in a cold doorway to do it. Then tried to remove the main strip to see if relocating it might help (even though it worked before) and it was impossible to remove so stuck with it in place and not working. Basically for me a complete waste of money.
