“My previous hammer drill driver was a Dewalt "Brushed" unit and I had changed the brushes several times over the years but eventually, the drill armature became troublesome. So I decided to upgrade to a brushless version. This unit has a little more power which was noticeable on first use on some large deep holes. The two 5Ah batteries are well worth it to save keep stopping work to charge my old 3ah ones. minor gadget "The light" but nice and powerful and noticeably helpful. It feels very well built as was my previous Dewalt drill which has served me well over many years. The price was very good compared to other makes. Only time will tell regarding reliability but it has a 3-year warranty.”
