“The rug itself is what I wanted, large off-white shaggy style rug which is becoming better as it ”relaxes” and fluff's-up with vacuming. Website ordering was simple and hassle-free, returns and refunds clearly stated. However, the packaging was substandard and not sufficient to withstand the ”mauling” by The Rugs chosen courier-partner. By the time my rug arrived, and after being dragged by one end (literally) by the courier man across a rain-soaked pathway, the plastic - not polythene - had riped and my rug was quite stained on the edge. I did try to contact The Rugs but there was no telephone contact (be aware of this, future customers) to discuss the issue. And, having had previous experience albeit different with a different company trying to resolve issues like this via an email Website contact box with a company who clearly doesn't want to verbally engage with customers, I just set about cleaning the stain as best I could with carpet cleaner etc, to reduce the damage. So, would I recommend this company and its products again? Frankly no. You can get equal quality products at the same price via vendors who are customer-focused enough to provide a means of resolving issues that suit all potential customers.”
