“1) Suregreen’s website advised that “… customers MUST ensure that they have at least 2 people or a forklift available to help offload from the courier.” 2) Managing this caused me a bit of a problem as I would be relying on friends to do so. If the courier arrived before 11am then I needed to ring someone who lived about 10 minutes away, but if the courier arrived after 11am then someone else (my neighbour next door) would be available to help. 3) The courier rang at about 9:45am to say he was roughly 1 hour away but, in the event, he arrived within 30 minutes. Notwithstanding the fact that my helper had still to arrive, the driver promptly unloaded the pallet using a battery driven electric trolley and manoeuvred it off the road onto my drive all on his own. Having received two previous telephone calls checking this very same matter, I would ask whether the stipulation for at least 2 people to help offload the sleepers was really necessary? 4) I have to say that the sleepers came with more “waney edges” than I would have liked but overall, they are made of good solid oak.”

“Absolutely disgusted with the quality of the sleepers, over half have been cut terribly with shattered ends and aren't even close to square. So far 34 of the 60 I ordered are severely curved on either or both vertices. It has taken me over 2 days now to have to correct the cuts and drill and bolt them to a vague semblance of square, thus delaying my job, angering my customer and costing me money! Once this job is complete I will be emailing photos as evidence of the absolute shoddyness of these supposed "premium sleepers". I'm so disappointed not only would I not recommend but go so far as to ensure everyone in the trade I know vehemently AVOIDS suregreen. I WILL be seeking at least a partial refund to cover the costs of finishing your job for you.”

“Some of the 25 I purchased were miss sharpen so had to choice carefully when fitting Delivery is expensive but overall not too bad.”

“Generally OK, and I was expecting some large cracks, splits and irregularities... But an 'S' shaped piece of metal driven in one end meant the piece was unuasble. I'd be wary of ordering again”
