“I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the 64 oak sleepers that I purchased from Suregreen. They were to be used to build a number of raised beds in my vegetable garden. A large number were seriously bowed (some bent like a banana) and of a poor shape. Many were also not machined properly and had seriously ragged and uneven edges. The overall quality was completely unacceptable. I would not recommend buying oak sleepers from Suregreen.”

“I ordered a batch of two sleepers to complement the sleepers which I had ordered from Suregreen on a previous occasion. When the driver had left I noticed that one of the sleepers had a severe split at one end as if it had been standing in a pool of water. One of my first batch of sleepers had a large chunk of wood missing, so this isn’t the first time I have received sub optimal goods.”

“I have bought Oak sleepers for a few projects before and these were by far the best quality and best value. There were only two sleepers from 60 with any bark on them (usually with this grade in the past it was about 1 in 5 that I would have to hide). Also the saw mill lines were very shallow so I only had to plane 1-2mm to get a super finish. I marked down to 4 star because the whole order did not come in one delivery as they forgot to put some items on the lorry, and the delivery came unexpectedly 2 days early so there was no parking and the sleepers had to be left on the pavement rather than being craned over our hedge which was the original plan. The drivers were very helpful though and did their very best to leave the delivery as close as possible for me :-). I think I have found my timber supplier for life!!!”
