Stringers of Edinburgh is one of Scotland’s longest established and most respected musical instrument dealers. We supply violins, violas, cellos and bows of all levels and offer the highest standard in repair and restoration. Stringers London opened in 2007 and over the past thirteen years has grown to become one of London's leading violin dealers. In both shops, all of our staff members are proficient string players, many are former or current teachers, and always happy to help and advise. All instruments are set up by our team of expert restorers in our on-site workshops and played and assessed by staff before going on sale.

“I use a bow tube after my cello was damaged inside its case by a loose bow. I chose this to prevent my cello bow rattling inside its tube and this one in particular because the velvet material serves as padding. Only reservation about it is that it is a bit narrow round the opening and may wipe off too much rosin, hence 4 stars not 5.”
