Stringers London opened in 2007 and over the past thirteen years has grown to become one of London's leading violin dealers. “My 100 year old walnut wooden violin case was in urgent need of repair, due many years of abuse! It had severe cracking and damage around the rim of the lid and elsewhere, missing tapes and corroded fittings, and would prbably not have held together much longer. Stuart has done an amazing job, stabilising the cracks and replacing part of the rim to match original old wood, replacing missing tapes, and cleaning up the fittings. It now looks beautiful, polished, and hopefully good for another 100 years!”
