About Spicentice:

Back in 1994 when founder, Ketan Varu, was at university, his mum sent him recipes and spices to make real Indian curries that would remind him of home. Pretty soon all his friends were hooked and the idea for Spicentice was born.

All these years later Spicentice is very much a family business (with mum, Manjula, and dad, Ramnik, still making sure Ketan eats a good lunch!) and the range has grown to include Indian, Thai, Mexican, Portuguese, Cajun, Jamaican and Moroccan spice kits, along with handy tubs of herb & spice rubs.

Spicentice stands out from the crowd because of its commitment to traditional recipes that have been perfected over generations, with 100% pure herbs & spices, no waste and absolutely no nasties! Ketan now has a young family of his own and continues the tradition of cooking and sharing meals with family and friends.

I'm a massive fan of the spicentice mixes. The firecracker chicken is a lovely addition to the range and gives me another meal to add to my repertoire. I'm on a slimming world diet and many of the recipes are perfect for super tasty diet meals.

This took about half an hour to make and was honestly absolutely delicious. Its not too hot or spicy- actually milder than anything i would normally cook, just with a little heat to it. My other have loved it as well and we had the leftovers for dinner after work a few nights later... even better second time! I’ve bought another and we cant wait to have it as a treat on Saturday! Even better, for weight watchers it works out as 1 point per portion for the curry, leaving you plenty of points for a big portion of rice!

Had this last night for the first time - amazing! Tastes so good - not too spicy that it blows your head off with the first mouthful but spicy enough to give a kick the more you eat. Definitely a fav!
