About Spicentice:

Back in 1994 when founder, Ketan Varu, was at university, his mum sent him recipes and spices to make real Indian curries that would remind him of home. Pretty soon all his friends were hooked and the idea for Spicentice was born.

All these years later Spicentice is very much a family business (with mum, Manjula, and dad, Ramnik, still making sure Ketan eats a good lunch!) and the range has grown to include Indian, Thai, Mexican, Portuguese, Cajun, Jamaican and Moroccan spice kits, along with handy tubs of herb & spice rubs.

Spicentice stands out from the crowd because of its commitment to traditional recipes that have been perfected over generations, with 100% pure herbs & spices, no waste and absolutely no nasties! Ketan now has a young family of his own and continues the tradition of cooking and sharing meals with family and friends.

My Dad and I enjoy our spicy food. We dd not enjoy this. As for my Dad, he managed to eat half of his bowl of chicken curry and rice before suffering a nosebleed due to the extreme heat. He also cried. Despite crying for my entire meal, I managed to eat my bowl thanks to the help of 2 pints of water and 3 pints of milk. I also needed to leave the table twice to empty my bowels. If i had to describe this curry in one word, it is evil. It is a sadists idea of heaven. For anyone planning to eat this, make sure to have excessive amounts of milk and toilet roll at the ready.

My wife always has a phall, she will even tell the chef the heat isn’t hot enough,,there was one place she had to sign. A disclaimer because of the intense heat, but she had this and it was hot,she said this was the hottest she had ever had so thumbs up

I’ve tried many hot curries and made many myself. I absolutely love spice, and I’ve yet to be wowed and on the verge of defeat. That was until I tried this one of course. I bought this before it had any reviews and wasn’t in high hopes of it being that hot, so purchased some reaper chillies to chuck in with it. Luckily before I decided to chuck any of the reapers in, I tried the curry first. You can taste the spice from the first mouthful, but the more mouthfuls you take, the hotter it gets. After finishing the curry, your mouth still continues to get hotter and hotter. When your mouth finally cools down and you think that’s the end of it, don’t be fooled. When it enters the chutney channel, be prepared for the same heat to bless your ballon knot. 10/10

ok! Me and my brother are self confessed spice heads. This nearly killed us off. It really is in with a shout of being the hottest curry in the world.
