“I love this basil pesto; I've been buying it for a few years. I think it's the only commercial one worth buying as it has a fantastic flavour and really good quality ingredients. However, the latest batch I bought (three jars mail order, unfortunately) is quite insipid compared to previous batches. I can only assume that the basil was grown in a cold, wet spring and didn't develop the full flavour. I shall buy it again, but if it continues like this I'll stop buying.”
