My nephew missed the family Easter with Seggiano’s superbly light, fruity and sugar topped Cake so I sent him 2 to share with his partner - we all love this treat! And I must admit I stash a few away in case we need a proper coffee and cake morning or afternoon tea party!

Superb! It’s truly excellent and family friends all love it both before and after Easter (while stocks last!). The cake is well flavoured and smells delicious when slightly warmed in the oven (great for maximising both scent and taste) plus the fruity bits in the cake have really good flavours and are juicy rather than dry (sadly they are often hard and not so tasty in bought cakes). This is truly a celebration cake - only gripe is the new packaging without those lovely ribbons! Come on, it has to be festive!!! Your photo shot is clearly a vote for the old pack style!

It was delicious, smaller than i thought it would be (i didn't check the size so no complaints here, just the other colombas are bigger which i thought is a standard size). It was the perfect ratio of almonds and fruit, light and not overly sweet..

Love this Seggiano Easter Cake almost as much as my favourite Chestnut panettone! It’s just so exactly well balanced, flavoured, fruity and sugary on top - only sorry there are no more of the previous lovely wrappers and ribbons, which created that “kiddy with present” sensation every time we opened one!

A beautiful Easter treat. A light cake with large, tender chunks of candied orange peel and almonds which have a soft, fresh texture , not like the hard dried nuts often encountered in cakes. The cake keeps well in an air tight container. I look forward to this every year.
