“So, I've used these booties a number of times now and they are good quality and they keep my feet dry and warm. I had to deal with customer service and they were very responsive and helpful. 5-stars for quality and service. However, the sizing is an issue... They need to redo their sizing chart since it is based on foot measurement - but these are booties that go over your shoes! If you're using road-cycle-specific shoes (which are slim & smooth) then you're probably ok. BUT if you're not wearing those road-cycle-specific shoes (normal shoes, mountain-bike-specific shoes, etc) then you need to be careful. I ordered large (based on feet size, 10.5US/CA) and had to return for XL. The XL fit only barely, and that is with a lot of effort when I need to get them on/off. Meaning they will probably have a shorter lifespan due to the VERY snug fit and extreme stretching I have to use to get them on/off. So, if you're NOT using road-cycle-specific shoes then size up 2-sizes! Maybe more depending on your shoes. Suggestions for Sealskinz: - Change sizing chart to be based on size of shoe rather than feet! They're over-shoes, not over-feets. - Add an XXL (some people may even need an XXXL). I don't know what the statistics are, but I have to assume the number of people wearing normal/mountain/etc shoes vs road-cycle-specific shoes has got to be 90%+ Seems like there is a big market here, if you target your marketing right. At the very least change your sizing chart. It cost me a return (20$ in shipping) and I still have a very tight fit with the largest size (XL). Finally, they are a good product and perform well when on, they're just not sized well. PS. I also have Sealskinz gloves and love them.”

As for your experience with the overshoes, we are sorry that they were not big enough. In general, our overshoes are designed for more slim road cycling cleats and customers looking to use them for alternate purposes will find they need to size up one or two sizes typically. We are sorry to hear you were charged for customs duties. We send all orders delivered duty paid so this should not have happened.
