“I had a ""Belgian Style"" rain hat from Sealskinz, but it was lost so I tried to replace it. As this cap was described as ""All-weather"" I assumed it replaced the ""Belgian Style"" hat which I wore in winter. But it was in fact the hat I already had for summer rain. Excellent for summer but no warmth in winter, or covering for the ears which the Belgian style hat gave. It seems the old hat has been discontinued. I assume because it won't fit under a helmet. But I don't rely on a helmet so wanted the old style. Luckily I found the old hat on a later ride! So if you want a winter hat, look at the Waterproof Extreme Cold Weather Hat from Sealskinz, though I've not needed it as long as I have my old hat!.”

“Wore it under a helmet while riding in the hot summer rain. Kept my head dry and I was happy with my purchase. Feels slightly warm, especially while standing still, noticeable but not unpleasant.”

“The item pictured is no longer the item that will be delivered. I owned the previous model of this waterproof cap which is simply brilliant and just wanted a replacement. I had already ordered two copies from eBay sellers and finding the product delivered was radically different from the previous, ordered this third copy direct from Sealskinz. To my astonishment, I find that the previous two orders were not mistakenly fulfilled, rather Sealskinz have radically changed the product without updating their advertising or product details, in clear breach of advertising standards. The reduced width of the peak, removal of the Sealskinz logo and change in shape, such that the fit is now tight, might save the Sealskinz beancounters a few pence, but have cost them a previously loyal customer. The product is now totally unfit for use. Anyone who actually used the product would know that a much narrower peak means water down the inside of ones cycling glasses instead of running helpfully over the top as it used to with the old product.”

“used for a month in winter on work commute. keeps head dry and not too hot. would have given 5 stars but colour is not as the image - wasn't fussed enough to return!”
