“This skull cap is a good fit for my 54cm roundish head and provides protection from the elements. However, If you are buying thois for cycling, your money will be better spent elsewhere, and here is why: there are a number of small holes punched in where the ears are, and rather than providing better hearing, they actually have the complete opposite effect - you cannot hear anything but wind turbulance whilst riding - no road vehicles, no emegency sirens, no nothing except for being deafened by wind turbulance. Sealskinz clearly did not test this in the field, so my recommendation to Sealskinz is, get rid of those completly unnecessary holes - you will then have a safe and very useable product. I think I paid around £10 for mine and even at this price, with the problems I have detailed, I consider this a faulty item.”

“You don't feel like you are wearing anything under the helmet. Main reason for purchase is to stop the sweat from going into my eyes. Fits perfectly under the helmet and does the job very well. Highly recommend it.”

“Keeps my ears and head nice and warm but can still hear clearly. Fits under my riding helmet without feeling bulky or a nuisance to wear. Wind - and waterproof to a tie.”

“I bought this for my son who fortunately has a small head. I bought it for him to wear under his bike helmet, and as he is a firefighter he was delighted with it as he can wear it under his helmet when they are practising in water. It would be ideal if you did an inbetween size, as he could just get it on, but the large-exlarge would have been far to big.”
