“I've now worn this in a downpour and am happy to report it kept my head dry. It's comfortable and has a good adjust range via a Velcro strap on the back. And it looks and feels silky. Very pleased with it .”

“Used this cap on Man Vs Mountain - a 20 mile run across Snowdon. Kept the rain and the wind off and was a comfortable fit. Very happy with this product.”

“I'm generally not a fan of hats because I hate it when my head gets too hot, but the Sealskinz Waterproof Cap has finally converted me, and rarely leaves my head when I'm outdoors. I initially wore it on a really rainy and cold day to stop the rain water from running into my eyes, but I find it great for protecting my face from the sun and the reflection of the water, and for taking up the blow of the hailstones as they land on my head. As a rower in the Lake District, this is vital, because the weather can change from one extreme to the other in just a matter of minutes, and I need a hat that will stay firmly in place when the wind blows, and whilst looking over my shoulder to see if there is anything in my boat's path (rowing must be the only sport in the world where you don't face the direction that you are traveling!). I also really like that the cap still looks clean and smart, no matter how many times it is worn, which is great for photo shoots. The curve of the cap peak is just the right distance away from my face, and means that the water runs away and not just down my face, meaning that I can put all my energy and focus into rowing, not worrying about my face being obscured by rain, or my cap blowing off in the wind. I much prefer this cap to general rowing caps now.”

“My main reason for getting this was to keep the hood on my waterproof out of my eyes as it is too big and always falls forward. The cap is perfect, being waterproof itself. It keeps my hood and the rain off my face. I've only had one opportunity to use it so far as the weather has been so good, but expect to use it often as the dog needs walking whatever the weather. However, I agree with one or two other reviewers that ""one size"" is actually rather large. If I didn't intend to wear it under a hood most of the time I might have concerns about it staying on in strong wind.”
