I bought this cap for walking and it is brilliant. It is light and comfortable and waterproof but breathable. My sister wants one for her birthday and so I'm buying another for her. Highly recommended.

This is my second waterproof Sealskinz cap - I couldn't do without mine for running in the rain so I replaced the one I'd lost the minute it went missing. It has proved such a useful item to have, as heavy as the rain gets, my hair and my head under the hat stay warm and dry, invaluable on a long run where there's the risk of getting cold. We lose so much heat through our heads that it really helps to stay dry. It's a great all round cap to use in the summer as well, a good quality hat, comfortable fit and easily adjustable.

I love this hat....the Oregon winters are wet...really wet. The hat keeps your head warm, retains/warms sweat and keeps the cold rain out....I recommend it only for cold and/or wet weather otherwise it gets a little too hot to run in. In really cold weather, I wear it over the top of a stocking cap (see Pic). My head stays warm and dry...which helps keep me warm overall.

I have a size 59cm head and this only just fits, with the adjustable velcro on the last half inch. I would also prefer the tag inside to be white so I can write my initials on it to stop colleagues from pinching it. Apart from that it is probably the best waterproof hat on the market.

I have worn this hat for the last 3 wet Saturday's in the peak district. My main reason for a peaked hat is for protection to my glasses in the rain. This has a generous peak which pretty much does the job all but for some of the horizontal rain we have had this weekend. The hat so far has let no water in, though I have had my hood up as well as its been fierce rain.I needed a hat I could wear under my hood as the wired hood peaks are no where near long enough for glasses protection. This is where the hat really excelled for me, it's breathing ability was superb even with my hood on top, and that's a great + in my book. The peak of the cap which has been exposed all the time has stood up well to the water so far as well. The fit of the hat is great with my hood sitting niceley at the back of the peak. For me it's done exactly what I want so far... GREAT BUY....

I bought this hat as a waterproof alternative/accessory to wearing a hood with rain gear. It hasn't rained since... the hat must have magic properties. It does, however, also provide shade from the sun.

I'm happy with my Waterproof Cap. Easy to adjust to the right size. I use it during a very sunny day and also during raining days on sail boat race.
